Journaling has become extremely popular over the past few years. Many people started journaling when the pandemic began, and they keep doing this practice regularly as a habit to look after their mental health.
I personally have been journaling since I learned how to write; one of my favourite things to do when I visit my home in Italy is to go through all my old journals and read some of the entries.

Now more than ever, we are bombarded with negative news, social media updates, and our general lifestyle doesn’t always allow us to live in a stress-free environment. It’s essential that we take ownership of our mental health, and we do what we can to make sure we are okay from the inside out.
I personally found some great benefits in therapy too, but if you can’t afford that for whatever reason or you want to have an alternative, journaling is great for that.
Putting your emotions down on paper (or screen) can help you to really process what’s going on, get it all out instead of hiding it inside of you, and make sure that you reduce stress, anxiety, fears, and other negative feelings.

At first, I was using it as a journal and I loved that I could customize it, record my feelings, but also attach pictures of what I was journaling about.
